The Pensions Trust has general exclusions to avoid investments in businesses directly involved with the manufacture of armaments and also where a significant proportion of the business is involved with gambling, or the manufacture or sale of alcohol or tobacco, or the production or transmission of pornography. The Trust seeks to encourage good governance and socially responsible management of the businesses in which it invests.
